ADP is hiring a Director, Alliances. This person will manage partner relationships for Compliance Solutions Wage Payments focused on supporting the Paycard business. Role will focus on ensuring our partners are meeting defined SLAs/KPIs and identify and execute process improvement opportunities. This role will lead partner agreements through business development, strategy development and execution, third party distribution and/or referral relationships. External Partner channels will include all functions required to support the business including Contact Center, branding and processing partners, compliance partners, etc. Internal Partner channels will include SBS, MAS, GES, TotalSource, Master Tax, Strategic Products and newly acquired ADP businesses. Supporting business development and acquisition activity will be embedded in the role.

Responsibilities:


This position will have national responsibility for managing assigned partners for Compliance Solutions Wage Payments. Planning and strategizing partner performance requirements are key functions of the role. Influencing both internal and external stakeholders, this role spans across business functions and divisions and provides for a great degree of autonomy, visibility and creativity. Monitoring financial levers and determining corrective action needed if budgeted expenditures will be exceeded. A significant amount of collaboration with leaders of all levels is needed to ensure desired outcomes.



  • Effectively manage all aspects of daily business activities across all external partners and monitor performance against contractual obligations.

  • Partner with Sr. Director to conduct ongoing business reviews with all partners to ensure that all performance metrics are met and partners are meeting/exceeding expectations.

  • Work with partners to identify process improvement opportunities and deliver projects in partnership with other stakeholders in a timely fashion.

  • Engage in contract negotiations and assist with data analytics to ensure an effective and profitable partnership for ADP. Work with AVS business -- legal, marketing, service, operations, finance, product and IT etc. to ensure partner performance as per the contractual terms. Hold Partner accountable for any deficiency in performance and ensure prompt recovery to ADP required standards.

  • Influence partner activity to meet sales and revenue plans. Coordinate and manage all communications between ADP (AVS and other Bus) and the partner.

  • Working with Business partners, and seeking new delivery models to accelerate growth in new units.

  • Assist with education and awareness programs to influence all stakeholders.

  • Create and oversee coordination of marketing activity for alliances working in conjunction with various parties across ADP and in some cases external to the business.

  • Promote stakeholder engagement via partner plan and reviews with a focus on activity standards, business metrics, shared goals and field enablement strategies. Seek opportunity to generate visibility to projects and outcomes.

  • Regularly provide progress updates to senior leadership and business colleagues within Compliance Solutions and across ES.

  • Create and drive partner projects and initiatives to drive growth and competitive advantage.

  • Lead Card partner relationships to ensure all performance and financial metrics are met and work with partners to address opportunities for improvement. Focus on continually improving partner delivery to be competitive in the market and provide world class service to our clients and their employees.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

  • Travel required, estimated at 25-35%


 Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree 

  • 8+ years' experience in a vendor management or people leadership experience

  • Travel required, estimated at 25-35%

  • Strong capacity for business metric analysis as well as lateral thinking is essential. Creating and managing change and managing multiple priorities. Ability to generate and implement concepts, ideas, and plans while functioning in a flexible, constantly changing environment is necessary.


Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:



  • Experience with Contact Centers receiving inbound inquires including team management, contact volume forecasting, management of improvements, etc.

  • Extensive experience with vendor management, including Contact Center management, focused on ongoing management, tracking of SLAs, etc.

  • Paycard/Financial Services experience

  • Previous business services and/or business software experience

  • Experience negotiating contracts for new and extended services

  • Advanced leadership, presentation, interpersonal and conflict management skills.

  • The highest level of integrity, customer focus, team building for strong working relationships.

  • Needs the ability to manage a virtual team effectively

  • Expertise at leading meetings and facilitating information exchange with internal and external business partners

  • Sound decision making skills that demonstrate originality, flexibility and resourcefulness

  • Ability to develop strong working alliances at all levels within the organization.

  • Build appropriate rapport for developing constructive and effective relationships.

  • Ability to adapt to change and implement quickly based on overall direction and needs of the company.

  • Drive for results, communicate effectively and professionally, balance risk with opportunity.
